In an effort to provide a more thorough eye exam, we have incorporated WELLNESS DIGITAL RETINAL IMAGING into our practice. This new state of the art technology combines retinal photography with computerized imaging of the retina for instant viewing of the retina & optic nerve in great detail. Both the doctor & the patient will see & review the images together on a monitor. Sight threatening diseases such as glaucoma, macula degeneration, diabetic retinopathy & other problems can be detected much earlier. Although this new retinal scan is optional, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND every patient have this important scan – there is a small fee of $29 per patient which is not covered by your vision or medical plan. Please be sure to let our front desk know if you would like a WELLNESS DIGITAL RETINAL SCAN.
